TURKISH ONLINE POKER SITE MAKING FALSE CLAIMS, SAYS MALTA LICENSING AUTHORITY
Pokerzade.com stays silent as LGA publicly denounces its licensing claim

The Lotteries and Gaming Authority which oversees online gambling licensing on the Mediterranean island of Malta is clearly determined to turn the spotlight on false claimants to its license.

This week the LGA publicly denounced the Turkish language online poker site Pokerzade.com for making a false claim that it carries a Malta remote gambling license.

In a press release, the LGA said: "The Lotteries and Gaming Authority would like to bring to your attention that a foreign remote gaming company by the name of Pokerzade.com is claiming that it is being regulated by 'Malta Gaming Commission Ltd.'

"The Lotteries and Gaming Authority which is the only body that regulates lotteries and gaming in Malta would like to inform the public at large that the above statement is not true. Pokerzade.com has no connection whatsoever with the Maltese jurisdiction.

"The LGA strictly advices the public to play responsibly with companies licensed with reputable jurisdictions who have sound remote gaming regulations."

Pokerzade is a rather basic site which seems to be operated by Estrichten Gronsche Limited; the management did not respond to the accusation.
