COMINGS AND GOINGS AT CYOPS, GAMING TRANSACTIONS
White departs, reasons unknown and Smyth takes up the CYOP reins

Patrick Smyth resigned from Gaming Transactions Inc this week to take the helm of supplier CYOP Systems following the resignation of the companys chairman and CEO Mitch White. No reasons were given for White's departure.

Smyth also serves as Director and Secretary at Red Felt Software Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of CYOP. The Gaming Transactions announcement of Smyth's change of responsibilities also mentions that an agreement to license to the URL Keno.com and a license to an internet financial gaming transaction system from Red Ruth Ventures Inc. has been terminated for non-payment of the contract, but it is not known if the events are connected in any way.

Gaming Transactions made online poker available on its Keno.com site following a deal with RedFelt Software, a subsidiary of CYOP International. The software included classic poker games of Texas Hold'em, Omaha and 7 Card Stud, as well as favourites such as Omaha Hi.

Smyth is described on the CYOP website as based in Miami, Florida although the company has offices in London and Vancouver. He is Director and Secretary to Red Felt Software Ltd. (UK); a wholly owned subsidiary of CYOP and was the President of CYOP from 2002 to 2005 where he was directly responsible for Operations, Global Growth Strategies, Investor Relations, Public Relations, and Communications.

Smyth is the founder and editor of GamingPublic.com, which presents analysis on a number of gaming products including online poker, internet casinos, sportsbooks, lotteries, mobile gaming and pari-mutuel racing. He also consults with a number of online gaming companies, including an unidentified tier one web property. He acts as an expert ecommerce consultant to Gerson Lehrman's Consumer Goods & Services Group.

From 1998 to 2000, he was Vice President of casino marketing at WorldGaming, whose licensees included Sportingbet (SBT.L) and Sportsbetting.com. He is a member of the IGDA (International Gaming Developers Association) and holds a Bachelor's degree in history and political science from the University of British Columbia

Prior to joining CYOP, he was the President of NextLevel.com Inc.; a digital marketing company specializing in new media, celebrity web-property management, and online streaming. Central to his position was negotiating content deals with A-List musicians including U2, Madonna, Van Halen, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson as well as major record companies. In 1999 he founded and was CEO & President of Wiremix Media Inc.; a very successful advertising and marketing agency specializing in online gaming and e-commerce. They also had a suite of celebrities with whom he negotiated endorsement deals including Larry Holmes, Fuzzy Zoeller and Rodney Dangerfield.

Smyth will head a team of Canon Bryan (CFO) Norman MacKinnon, VP Finance, Randy Peterson Director and Jorge Andrade - Director.
