Losing this bet involved a few costume changes!
When Joe Sebok lost a bet to his friend and fellow poker pro Gavin Smith he had to arrange several unusual costume changes for his appearances in the four opening days of Main Event matches at the World Series of Poker this week.
Four opening days were needed just to get through the record 8 725 entrants for this year's final event in a competitive process called "The Meat Grinder" aimed at reducing this vast field to a final table of 9, all of whom will emerge from the tournament with at least a million dollars.

Sebok showed up for the first day of play dressed as Batman's sidekick, Robin, in what was the beginning of a costume-filled Main Event run for the pro. The costumes are his payment after losing a bet to Gavin Smith about who would finish best in the events leading up to the WSOP Main Event.
On the second day Sebok showed up as a bear cub in a diaper and the third had him in a Spiderman costume. So far there's been no word on what he's dressed as for the fourth day, or what his future costumes will be.
Smith did say that Sebok would be let off the hook if he makes it to the final table of the Championship!
