Two of Probability's directors are stepping down. Ravi Ruparel has resigned in order to pursue other interests, and Ben Hirsch has emigrated to Israel, and is also departing the board. John Scaife has relinquished his responsibilities as president but remains a non-executive director.
The company took the opportunity to inform investors that Arbuthnot Securities Limited is its nominated adviser and broker with immediate effect.
Probability chairman Graham Parr said, We remain committed to building a first-rate team. The appointment of Arbuthnot, in tandem with that of Bill Henbrey, represents an important step in achieving this objective.
"Bill brings with him over three decades of experience in the financial management and development of gambling businesses. He
also has direct experience of AIM listed companies and an unqualified reputation for probity and extensive knowledge of businesses of our type.
The Board wishes to thank Ben Hirsch for his signal contribution over the past year, in particular his insights into the mobile industry and consumer affairs. We all wish him and his family the very best in their new life in Israel. The Board also thanks Ravi Ruparel, who, as Finance Director over the past two years, played a pivotal role in the transition of the business into a flourishing listed company at the forefront of its industry. Ravi uniquely combines entrepreneurial flair with the rigorous attention to detail required of a Finance Director. We wish him every success in his future business ventures.
I would also like to thank John Scaife who helped found the company and worked tirelessly to secure its transition from a start-up to public company over the past four years. His continued engagement as a non-Executive Board Director ensures that we will be able to benefit from his deep knowledge of the business, in particular his expertise in regulatory matters, and from his insights garnered from his previous career in the City.
