A local advocate, Jerry Carter, has also been appointed a member of the Commission.
The recent placing of the Isle of Man on the United Kingdom white list, which allows Isle of Man based e-Gaming companies to market in the UK, has highlighted the importance of the e-Gaming sector to the Isle of Man economy," the Chief Minister said.
"The regulator of the sector, that is the Gambling Supervision Commission, has an important and high profile role to undertake in ensuring that the sector is effectively regulated. I am therefore delighted to be able to announce that we have been successful in appointing such high calibre individuals.
