SKY TV TO SCREEN MAJOR MILLION DOLLAR POKER TOURNEY
Big names scheduled to play in Fifty Casino competition

All In Sports, formerly known as The Poker Channel, will be bringing another game of high-stakes poker to television screens in the U.K. next year with the "Million Dollar Cash Game."

UK poker fans will have more exciting poker television to watch when Sky Sports TV channel screens the event, which takes place at the Fifty Casino in London on September 12.

   
Internationally famous professional poker players will be inaction, competing in this high-stakes cash game with players staking a minimum of $100 000 each to take part. Some of the poker pros expected to participate are Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen, Howard Lederer, Erik Seidel, Jennifer Harman, John Juanda, Mike Matusow, Erik Lindgren, Chris Ferguson, Marc Goodwin, and Tony Guoga.

The show will air on Sky Sports in January 2007 and on All In Sports in May 2007.

"This is a hugely exciting event featuring the biggest names in world poker and guaranteed thrilling viewing," said James Hopkins, All In Sports head of programming. "With millions of dollars being staked, this is the first high-stakes cash game to be produced and televised in Europe, promising something new for poker fans."
