The international production house Endemol has been talking about moving into interactive TV and the Internet with it's block-busting television game Deal or No Deal for some time, and fans will be pleased to hear that this engrossing fixed odds game is now available at PaddyPower.com.
The online scratchcard version of the popular TV game for the National Lottery was developed and produced by Endemol Gaming.

The player picks a lucky box and then chooses which of the remaining boxes to open to reveal cash amounts. The player has to complete a sequence in the prize table to win, and resist the temptation of banker's offers on the journey!
Endemol Gaming were responsible for adapting the core Deal or No Deal game play to make the game compliant with the National Lottery's regulations. Once approved, the game was designed and developed in Flash for integration with the National Lottery's Instant Win game engine.
Endemol has dedicated a new Endemol Gaming.com site to the online project and is working in partnership with technology firm GTS.
The company has also been collaborating with UK skill game provider Game Account on the In The Grid P2P game, bringing an accurate multiplayer experience for online skill gamers.
The In The Grid game works identically to the popular show: players take turns in choosing squares on the grid, which increase or decrease their cash balance. The player who finishes with most cash wins the game. The squares contain extra cash, cash bonuses, penalty squares, a bankrupt and also squares, which allow players to steal their opponents cash. Whilst the types and values of squares are random each game, the player has one weapon in his or her armoury two reveal buttons which allow the player to see two of the squares before making a choice.
This is where the skill lies - when to use the reveals, when, which and whether to take them are all nail biting decisions many a game will see losers become winners and then losers again within a couple of moves! It takes nerve and confidence to play In the Grid.
