The British betting group Ladbrokes has confirmed industry talk that its managing director, David Briggs will soon leave the company. It is not known who will succeed him, or the exact date of his departure.

Briggs's intentions have not been disclosed, but there has been speculation that he may be moving to new pastures in the international market.
