PINK SLIP LEAKS
Neteller insiders start to spill the beans

Whenever a company "re-engineers", "re-structures", "downsizes" or any of the other euphemisms that means people are losing their livlihoods, there are leaks and this week the Neteller situation in Calgary was no exception.

With well over 200 people getting the chop, affected employees started to make anonymous disclosures to public information sites, some of which warned their readers off further dealings with the e-wallet, referring to it as a "...crumbling company."

Information portal Gambling911 reported: "'These 250 layoffs are still ongoing', claims one NETeller manager, who wished to remain anonymous. 'There were more on Friday and more of us will be leaving at the end of the month. Even executives are leaving.'"

911 went on to claim that Neteller's North American president, Gord Forbes, is said to be on his way out the door the end of this month as well as Dale Johnson who is VP of Asia operations. The anonymous manager also told the portal that "higher ups" in the finance division of the company were also "toast."

"I've never seen anything like this in all my years of Security work. But I guess on one upside, they realized they terminated/laid off too many Call Center Reps [because] a handful are being hired back on."

The Call Centre must be a hectic place these days, with little that is good news emanating from it for US players.
