BETONSPORTS ACCOUNTANT WANTS HIS CASH
Adding to the problems of the beleageured gambling group, this ex-exec wants to be paid

BetonSports group has more than its fair share of tribulations this week with a CEO in a US jail on serious anti online gambling charges, a $4 million a day website that has closed in deference to a Department of Justice injunction, suspended shares on the stock exchange, enraged investors....and now a former Chief Financial Officer with a compensation beef.

Richard Ainsworth-Morris, former chief financial officer at Costa Rica-based Betonsports, is seeking GBP 100 000 in unpaid fees and share options from the internet gambling company, nearly five years after departing.

Ainsworth-Morris was chief financial officer at the company for six months in 2001 and was assigned the task of preparing the firm for flotation in the UK.

He claims he was given options, which were never materialised.
